AI humanoid robots are on their way – physical artificial intelligence designed to complement human labour in industrial operations at a time of fundamental demographic changes to the European workforce and an increasing shortage of employees.
Following the industrial revolutions driven by steam, electricity and the internet, artificial intelligence is set to transform the world of work.
One of the first European representatives of this new era is robot GEORGE, an industrial humanoid robot developed by the Czech technology company Business Logic s.r.o.
GEORGE has already undergone six months of intensive development, including the creation of functional prototypes and the verification of key technologies.
'We are designing GEORGE as a real workforce for industry, not as a laboratory experiment,' says company CEO Jiří Pálka.
Its main advantage is its ability to work alongside humans in normal production environments, using standard tools and not requiring any changes to existing processes. This will enable companies to deploy it quickly, with minimal downtime and investment.
Emphasis is also placed on safety and European standards. We are developing GEORGE in Europe in accordance with European safety and manufacturing standards. Transparency of technology is essential, and data remains fully under the company's control.
'Our goal is for European and Czech industry to have its own solution that will be fully under its control,' adds Jiří Pálka.
